    Default Foremilk/Hindmilk Imbalance

Can anyone please explain this to me? I was taking Fenugreek, eating oatmeal and drinking Mother's Milk. I got mastitis and then my LO has had green, mucousy, poopy with small squiggles of blood. She poops a lot 4 times a day. Do you think this can be a sign of Foremilk/ Hindmilk Imbalance. She is 7 1/2 months.

I am a new mom, but found a good link to comment about the poop colours:

Is she emptying the breasts? You might try breast compressions just to be sure. You can find a video of this technique from Dr. Newman on the Birthden web site.

We are experiencing this (as I mentioned in my other post) and I'm confident that it's viral. The blood would suggest that too, I think. I've dealt with the imbalance before (due to OALD) so in my case I can rule that out as a cause of green poop. I'd think that by 7 1/5 months you'd also be beyond that but I'm no expert.
