Question When does the sick feeling end?

My dd2 is 7wks old and I started having nausea off and on for a few weeks. I was getting the morning sickness feeling when I first started bf, but it came back. It is always when ever I nurse right after eatting or if I am hungry and time to nurse and I drink my water and/or munch on something like I get this overwhelming need to puke.

I hope I am not the only one who gets this way.

I haven't had this personally, but yesterday I read in a BF'ing article that if you experience sickness while nursing to try those motion sickness wrist bands. Might be worth a try!

If I am not nursing and about to have a let down (usually at work) I feel that way. Almost like I am getting ready to have a panic attack or something. At those instances I really wonder why I am bfing...then 10sec pass and i am fine and love bfing again. But if I could take away those 10sec bfing would be even better.

Maybe the wristbands are worth a try

I still get those feelings occasionally, lo is 5 mths old. It is hard and it seems to happen more when I am very hungry. It sometimes seems like I have an upset stomach or something. I keep hoping it will go away but it hasn't though it has improved.

I have never heard of this. What causes it?

I also get the "sick feeling". I notice it more when I am hungry.

I also got that sick feeling but it diminished and went away after about 6-8 weeks. It helped to be hydrated and nurse on a not-full but not-empty stomach. To be honest, it didn't mind it too much because it put me off food for a couple of hours each time and I gained 60+ lbs when I was pregnant.

I still get it sometimes esp. when I pump but it goes away after a few seconds.

So - you are not crazy!

I have been getting it ever since the first few days of nursing (after the milk came in) and am still getting it now that my lo is 9 months!

I think it is more apparent when I haven't had enough to eat.. or like some posters say, when hungry.

It starts the moment lo starts sucking, then goes off as soon as he stops.

It's no fun, I admit. I thought I'd done away with nausea during pregnancy!

But it's not so bad.. so I live with it

Maybe try to eat more... :P
