    Default Juice...

My 9 month old has NO interest in it. Do they really even need it right now?

Juice is not necessary, especially at this age. It's better to offer fresh fruit.

Good deal. One less thing to worry about. Does the fruit help with constipation? He's been 'pooping rocks' ever since we've been doing the baby led solids.... I always nurse him before solids and he has a 'snack' session afterwards too, I was hoping that would be enough to keep things moving...

Juice isn't a requirement. I've heard fruits that start with "P" help with "P"ooping. Pears, prunes, peaches, etc. I don't know how true this is, but that's what I've heard...

The way I see it, juice is totally unnecessary, especially if you're offering fruits. More info here: http://www.kellymom.com/nutrition/so...aby-juice.html

I feed my 9mo yogurt everyday and this really helps with the constipation.

    Good luck.

bananas can cause constipation, so probably best to avoid those for now.
