    Default Heat rash

My son has this heat rash all over his cheeks, neck, and shoulders. I called the nurse about it and she said to have him sleep on top of a towel so that it soaks up the sweat. I've been doing that and when he wakes up at night to eat that towel is very damp, very damp for such a tiny little man. Now I've started to wipe him down with a cool, wet rag but so far I don't see it becoming better but worse. There's more bumps all over those spots. Is there any cream that I can put on them -it doesn't seem to bother him but I wish they would go away....

My little girl had heat rash once. I put Weleda Calendula cream on it and it cleared up in like 24hours. My pediatrician suggested hydrocortisone cream, but i never tried it. I use the Calendula diaper cream too and I love it.

I used Aquaphor. It really did help. Do you have a fan that you can use to keep him cool? Is it really hot where you are? What is he sleeping in (clothes) and on (bed).
