Default uh... who wants to answer this question?

if you feel like answering ladies, when did your breasts start to shrink back down, if they did? my mom told me that after 6 months of feeding me her breasts were back to being almost the same as pre-pregnancy. i'm at 13 mos BFing, and mind are still a few cup sizes larger than usual. they've certainly shrunk since the first couple of months PP, but i've also lost all of my baby weight by now. is this how it will be until i'm done BFing? just want to hear some other stories, if you feel like sharing! i really miss my B cups .

My daughter is 22 months. I think is was about 4-6 months ago that I noticed that they were back to pre-pregnancy size.

Well, mine shrunk down back to my AA size after I night-weaned when my ds was about 2 1/2 yrs. He still nurses once a day and I'm scared that I'll be A- or something when he quits I began to quickly lose my pregnancy weight when he was 8-12 months so the breasts didn't change for a while after that. Trying to give you some hope. Kinda wish I had your problem. Oh... my mom was huge with her last baby and she went back to normal too.

I am still nursing my 15mo old and I just had to go UP from a 34 C to a 34D and really, I'm still popping out of those.

I just bought them too. Don't bother getting measured at Victory Secret or JC Penny's. It truly baffles me how they measure you in the bra you're in and then state, "Oh, you're a 34 C" I was slightly irritated. Not that I'm into women fondling my breasts, but I would like a decent measurement so I know what size bra to wear.

I first went to Penny's while I was preggo and I was wearing a 34 B, the lady did measure me in the ladies dressing room but with my shirt and bra on. I was stuffed into the B and guess what size she said I was?? Yep, a B. Just last week I told DH I was going to VS to get a decent measurement and the little girl measured me right there, in the open, infront of a stange man, and stated, "You're a 34C" Had I lifted my shirt she would have seen my nip poking out the top!!! I just don't get it. I tried on a D and it seemed to fit. However, now when I walk around or get active at all, my nip starts to poke out the top again. It's so friggin aggrivating. Sorry to hijack but I've been meaning to see if anyone else has this problem too. I personally like my big knocker, I would just like to know what size they actually are so I can find a good, comfortable bra. Oh well.

Nordstom's has a great department for measuring. They will also alter bras to custom fit for no additional fee (at least the one here does). In addition they carry hard to fit and large sizes.

I had previously bought from JC pennys and the first time I wore the bra the underwire came out. Returned it for another an by the second month the uw had broken through on all 4 I bought.

I went up to about a 34K and was still a G at 6wks PP. Now at 12 mths, I'm pretty much back to normal, which is something like a 32DD. I have always had trouble buying bras to fit because of the small band size relative to cup size. Nordstroms are great at measuring but not so great on nursing bras, in fact they didn't have a single one in my size. I had to go to a specialist bra shop. I googled it in my local area and found one that does odd sizes and they were wonderful at measuring and bringing many, many different sizes for me to try on. They said that if you're over an A cup, you really can't get an accurate measurement with a bra on (unless the bra fits you perfectly, which it obviously wouldn't or you wouldn't be getting measured ) or off because your boobs hang down ! So the best thing is to go somewhere that they will let you wait in a comfortable place with a nursing chair and they can bring you bras to try, a cup of tea while you wait, and advice on the best fit. Good luck!

Oh, just one more thing. I'm sure you know this, but I didn't so thought I'd share - apparently wearing underwire while BFing can contribute to mastitis. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

When I got measured I wore a nursing tank top. I like the fit of this new bra.

Right around 12 months the girls started to deflate. I think I am smaller than I was before I was pg. He still is nursing 4-5 times a day, I thought they would stay bigger. I must say I am sad to see them go!

12 months pp and I'm STILL a DD which is way too big for me. I'm hoping that after he weans I'll be smaller than I was prepreg (D) bc that was still too big for me. When I had my first DS, I didn't BF and I STILL went up a whole cup size and it never went away. I miss my prebaby days of being a C *sigh* oh to be a C again- it would be nice!
