    Default lanolium

    Hi all,
When I had a c-section delivery 5 wks ago, I got a tube of lanolium for my sore nipples at the hospital. I use it sometimes and wash it off before feeding my baby. However, it is being tricky with nursing and pumping. Do I really need to wash this off? Is it safe for the baby?
    Thx!

You don't need to wash it off. You are probably causing more abrasion to your nipples by doing that. You just go ahead and nurse, even with lanolin applied.
