    Default Cold, clammy hands

My LO gets cold, clammy hands from time-to-time and I can't figure out why. Sometimes it coincides with her trying to get a bowel movement going but sometimes not. I've read that it can be a sign of dehydration but she has a lot of wet diapers and doesn't have other signs of it.

    Any thoughts anyone?

I personally am wondering if it's some type of vagal response??? I would call the doc though just to be sure everything is A.O.K.

My LO gets cold clammy hands too. I've read that cold hands/feet in babies is normal (just as long as they are not blue-or ice cold). As for the clammy part, I think with my LO it's because she always has her fists clenched--how old is your LO already grown out of that stage? Another thing, you might want to watch is if your LO is having trouble with bowl movements, is it hard enough to cause this?
