    Default Rejecting EBM

DD has been rejecting EBM from my husband and he has been forced to supplement her with formula. But when I am at home, she BF perfectly. I work full time & she has been taking the bottle since I went back to work. She is almost 8 months old. Any suggestions? She started doing this a couple of days ago.

That's so weird, formula tastes horrible in comparison to bm. Could you try mixing the formula and bm together, slowly increasing the amount of milk over time, to wean her off the formula?

We could try that. I know she is drinking the formula only because she is starving. It is just weird. She has never done that before.

If you haven't already, taste the milk you're offering? If it's got a soapy, metallic, or otherwise weird taste, you might have a lipase problem?

I have the occasional batch of milk go bad, and yuck, I wouldn't want to drink it either.
