    Default Thawing but diff question

So if I thaw a serving of milk and need to take it with me I have to keep it on ice or something? I can't thaw then leave room temp and use several hours later?

I'm sure you can't but thought I would ask since I can't find that information anywhere.

Most people I've talked to agree that once previously frozen milk is out of the freezer and put in the fridge it lasts 24 hours.

If kept anywhere but the refrigerator, it only has a life of 3 hours (hot, warm, or cold). Even if you warm it up and put it back in the fridge or on ice or whatever, it's still only good for 3 hours. I'm super paranoid so I personally warm it up, then only allow it to be out for 2 hours.

I have heard pretty much what the pp said. No more than 3 hours but I agree with the 2 hour and 3 if you have to stretch it.
