    Default Giving water

DS is almost 6 months and has only ever had boobie juice. No formula and no solids yet. For the past 4 days, his urine has been increasingly yellow and pee diaper output has decreased. Should I give him water? He seems fine otherwise although tonight he went to sleep very early.

I should mention that I am taking an antibiotic and an anti-infective for dysentery and a GI bacterial infection (for 3 days so far, 5 days total.) These 2 meds might have something to do with it but I can't find exact info. online.

    Any advice?

    I hope you're feeling better!

My personal recommendation is to nurse more - and make sure that YOU are staying very well hydrated.

I woke him up every two hours for most of the night and made him take both boobs (he usually only does one at a time.) It worked! Two full diapers throughout the night and two big poops early this morning. Thanks ladies!

Thankfully, I am feeling better! Dysentery is rough...
