We put baby oil on her hair about an hour before the bath and comb it in really good to loosen the scales - it seems to work better than any other methods for us.

the gentle naturals cradle cap lotion works well. I have also used Burt's Bee's apricot oil. It smells much better than olive oil, and you can use it for baby massage as well!

    Hi

We call it 'cradle crap' lol, my poor dd had it on her scalp and forehead at 6 weeks - we used olive oil and some papaw ointment to get rid of her cradle cap which seemed to do the trick!

Mineral oil rubbed in the scalp 20 minutes before bath time is what my pediatrician recommended. Worked very well. Leaves the hair a bit oily.
