Default breast feeding and diaper rashes

Are there sertin foods that cause your LO to have diaper rashes? My 3 month old has a rash that wont go away. We've tried everything airing her out frequent changes, desitin, A&D. Nothing is working. I was thinking maybe its something I'm eating?

Is it possible that it is a yeast rash? Yeast rashes don't respond to diaper cream. In fact, using diaper cream on them can exacerbate the problem.

The page I linked to has some good info on treating the rash if it is yeast.

Good luck getting to the bottom of this...no pun intended

What kind of diapers are you using? If you are using disposables, you might want to try cloth for a while. If you are using cloth, try disposables. Some babies just react differently to different types of diapers.

But, see if it is a yeast rash first, of course.

I agree with both posters. I would try a different diaper first. my LO starts to get a little bit of a rash forming if I use the "cheap store brand" diapers. it might be some sort of allergy, I don't know, but I have to use Pampers.

If it's not that, sounds like yeast. If you change diapers and it doesnt' improve in a day...you need to see the doc. Poor baby. good luck!
