Question How much of EBM do I feed my LO?

Hi everyone! I'm trying to start pumping to save for when I return to work and I don't know how much bm to give my baby in a bottle. I'll return to work when he'll be 3 months old (he's 3 & 1/2 weeks!!). I guess I could ask his pediatrician, but we won't be seeing her for another 2 weeks, and I wanted to ask you guys...also to know how much to start freezing (we have a regular freezer, not deep).
    Thanks to everyone!!!

The rule of thumb that I've read and that we've used successfully is that baby needs 1 to 1.5 oz EBM for every hour away from mom. So if your LO is in day care for 8 hours that would be 8 to 12 oz EBM.

It's best to freeze EBM in small quantities to help minimize any waste.

I send five (on occasion six) 3-4 oz bottles for the day but I work 12 hours shifts. My DD usually finishes all five and on occasion will even take the sixth one. She is rarely hungry when I pick her up so I figure I am defintely sending enough. If there is extra at the end of the day I usually freeze it for my stash.
