    Question painful nursing?

My DS was born at 34 weeks, and has nursed like a champ from the beginning. He is now 5 weeks old and I am getting sore nipples. I am confused? He is positioning well, though his latch technique has always been a little off. He has never turned out his lips when he nursed, they are always tucked in. I didn't think it was a problem since my nipples never got sore from it - but now I am second guessing this? Does anyone have any ideas why I would now be experiencing pain after 5 weeks of blissful nursing? Thanks in advance.

what kind of pain? I started having burning nipples when baby got thrush and i got a yeast infection in my boobs...
actually, i have yet to have nursing not hurt, and I know he's latched on right. I hope after this thrush is under control, the pain will finally go away!
