Default Breastfeeding for the 2nd time

I'm 7 months pregnant and have a daughter who weaned in November after nursing 34 months. I'm wondering if I can expect to "start from scratch" when my son is born or if it will be easier/less painful in the first weeks. Anyone with a similar experience?

You won't exactly start from scratch but you might encounter new difficulties or not. Now you count with experience and knowledge, but it's a new BB and is also a learning period for him/her too. In my own experience the second was easier in the sense that I knew what to expect, but I did get mastitis (pretty painful) and he was more difficult to teach. My first one I had bleeding nipples, engorgement, etc., until I saw a LC and told me what I was doing wrong, the problem was corrected in a few days, she was a quick learner. Congratulations!!
