b/c of the caffeine. However, if you don't have a piece here or there is not bad. In moderation is the key.

I'm guessing because of the caffiene that is in chocolate, and caffiene can make your baby irritable and fussy. at least that is what i have been told.

God - I'd be in trouble... I eat chocolate all the time. My son has never been affected by it. I drink a cup or two of coffee each morning as well...

When I was pregnant I craved chocolate all the time and it didn't exactly stop when I gave birth . The few times I have had soda that had caffeine in it I noticed it made my lo fussy but I've never noticed anything with chocolate.
