Default Getting moles on breasts checked out, anyone else had this experience?

Hi, I have some moles on my nipple and breast that the dr. may want to remove, and I'm concerned it could affect breastfeeding. Does anyone have a similar issue? Any advice?

call your local leader she can get some more info for you.
from what I have read something like that shouldn't affect breastfeeding.

If they are superficial, they won't affect bfing at all. I have had moles removed, once a year, for my entire life...and a couple on my breasts. They generally don't go deep enough to affect the milk ducts, although some may make bfing uncomfortable for a time. If they do go deep enough, you will be glad you had them removed, as they are growing too much, kwim?

I would recommend having a doctor who knows something about cosmetics do the removal though--I had my regular doc remove one on my hip and one on my thigh that i wish I had had done by a dermatologist...they look awful after they healed. The one on my hip has a gigantic stretch mark through it and it is very evident. I love my doctor, and we have a great relationship, and I need to have one removed from my neck, so I told her--not you! She laughed. I must have really sensitive skin because she said she has never had that reaction before.
