    Default how to start breastfeeding?

My daughter is 14 weeks old. I never breastfed b/c I had no clue what I was supposed to do. I thought it would just come to me naturally and well it didnt. I also didnt get any help in the hospital. So I just started pumping Anyway is it possible to start breastfeeding now?

Yes it is possible to teach your baby at 14 weeks how to breastfeed. My second DD was 5 months when I re-lacted her. It is going to take lots of time and effort but in the end it will be well worth it. Try and get in contact with your local lactation consultant. Take away all bottles and shoothers. Use your breast as a soother. Try latching LO on while the two of you are having a nice warm bath. Gool luck!!!

It is possible, but it will take some time and patience. Your baby will basically be learning how to eat all over again, as sucking at the breast is soo different from sucking on a bottle. You could try investing in a SNS system, which might help her get used to getting milk from your breast. Good luck!
