Question How long can reheated milk stay out??

I am pumping and storing my breastmilk in the refrigerator. I warmed up a bottle for my newborn and he was not ready to drink it. He drank maybe an ounce of it and it now fast asleep. My question is, how long can this milk sit out and still be safe?? I really don't want to throw it out, but I don't want to feed it to my baby if it's not going to be safe!

Thanks in advance for any replies!

I really like kellymom.com for these kinds of questions! Here's a link to a page that should hopefully answer your question. HTH

My best suggestion is to offer in smaller quantities so there is less waste. You can always heat more if needed.
