Default Help! DD has started crying while BFing

Help please - my dd (the same one I just posted about BFing for long periods of time ) has started crying while eating. She will eat for a few minutes and suudenly cry, unlatch, scream, and then I have to try and calm her down to get her to eat again. This just started happening some yesterday and doesn't happen every time she eats. Thanks in advance for any info or ideas!

Maybe the milk is coming too fast- I had that problem with my daughter, she used to clamp v hard (ouch) on the nipple to slow down the flow, but sometimes she would cry and unlatch.
You could try expressing a little bit of milk just before you feed her, burping her, or nurse from the other side. I found that I had that problem with one side only!

Maybe try side lying nursing to slow the flow?

This is a good link (but not a LLL resource) that can help you sort through the various possible causes of her mid-feeding unhappiness.
