Default When is it ok to pump?

When is it ok to pump? I would like to pump just for daily outings. (I'm a stay at home mommy, so I won't be doing much pumping) To have milk in a bottle ready to go with me when I'm out all day so I won't have to worry about a place to BF my baby. A lot of places in my community don't have an exclusive place for BF, and I don't feel comfortable in complete public. Anybody have any advice? I don't want occasional pumping to hinder my milk supply or my baby's feeding.

    how old is your baby?
nip gets easier as you get more confindance in yourself.
I always pick someplace where I can have my back to most of the people in the room.
Most don't have a clue that you are feeding a baby.
    You can do it.
pumping can start as soon as baby is born.

A sling is a great way to nurse baby when your out in public, you can pull the extra fabric up around baby and breast.

My La Leche League consultant told me to start pumping after 4 weeks. However i started at like week 2 and have been doing it more now at almost 4 weeks. It can make your nips sore so be careful.
