    Default Painful bump

I have a small red painful bump at the edge of my aerola. This is really gross, but I think it has pus coming out of it. Some yellow stuff came out earlier. What is this, and what can I do to make it go away. Earlier this week the breast that the bump is on had mastitis, but it cleared up without antibiotics.

Wow! If you think pus is coming from it, definitely call your doctor.

Does the bump look the same as the other little bumps on or around your areola (montgomery glads)? Most mothers describe them as looking like goosebumps.

Yes, I think you are right about it being a montgomery gland.

Could be a plugged milk duct, sometimes called a milk blister. This can cause mastitis, so maybe this link can help.
