    Default teething = bad latch?

4mo DS is getting his first teeth, and I'm in pain (yet again!). He's not biting me, but his latch seems less than perfect. (Also noticing nipple blanching after a shower, but may be unrelated.) Is this due to teething, and is there anything I can do?
    Thanks,

DS and I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago. Then he cut the tooth (and another!) and now his latch is back to normal. I think he was uncomfortable latching the right way because as soon as the tooth broke through he went back to normal!

Be patient and try giving a cold teething toy 10 minutes before nursing.
