    Question Spit-up

is it safe to assume that if your child had a spit-up after nursing he's already have enough?

I don't know what others will have to say, but my lo often spits up in the middle of feedings when I burp her, then eagerly takes the other side. So I assume she's not done when she spits up. hth!

I think it just depends. If they get a little air bubble behind the milk and they spit up when they burb, it doesn't necessarily mean anything. On the other hand, some babies spit up when they are overly full. I don't think you can rely on that as an indicator.

Are we talking spit up, or are we talking vomit (smells different)?
