Default When can I stop sterilizing pump?

My son is 6 mo old and started solids. When can I stop sterilizing the pump every day?

I stopped sterilizing when DS was 3 1/2 months when I read somewhere that you don't need to sterilze unless the baby is premature or ill. Just a good wash with soap and hot water. We've had no problems.

I think the Medela website just says you need to wash the parts in hot, soapy water after each use.

If you are pumping more than once during the day ( like at work) I believe you don't have to wash the pump after each session. All you have to do is store the pump in the fridge until your next session. I read that somewhere on the forum. Does anyone know where?
Only need to sterilize once, just wash with warm, soapy water
Proud Mommy to Michael who is 3 now! Michael was nurseynursed for 2 years!!
I did not make up this persona, but if I did, I would make myself 50 pounds lighter and 5 years younger!!!!
