    Default Way to go Medela!!

This addresses a couple of things brought up in another thread (using a used breast pump - how some pumps wear out after 3-4 months). I had a Medela Double Select which I loved and had been using for 3 months, very portable, and it got to the point where I could see the pump and just about feel a let-down. Sunday at work, I turned my pump on and it made a horrible noise and no suction! Much panicking.

The booklet with the pump said the pump mechanism was under warranty for 6 months so I called their customer service number on Monday all prepared to fight for a replacement pump.

WOW!!! They were so great, friendly and sympathetic. No questions asked they agreed to replace the pump. But since the Double Select is out of stock they replaced it with the Pump In Style Original ($100 more!) at no charge and because I use it every day they over-nighted it to my house and it was waiting on my doorstep when I got home from work. And they are paying for me to ship back the old pump.

So great to know you can still find good customer service out there.

That is amazing! I've heard great things about Medela in the past, but this is really awesome.
