    Default Poop Questions :o)

Ok I know that bf babies have soft yellow poop, but my six week old's poop is liquid. Is that normal? Also I've noticed that when it's left to sit on cloth diapers (like in the diaper pail) it turns green. I thought that it might be some chemicals left in the diapers but I don't know???

Does his liquid poop indicate a problem?

Ahhh the old poop question. Yes, as long as your child is exclusively breastfed, his poop will be liquid and yellow. I didn't introduce solids until mine was 10 months old. And yes, up until then, his poop was that mustardy yellow liquid color.
As far as the green when it sits, I too remember noticing that. I'm not sure why it happens, but yes, some kind of chemical reaction I guess. Very normal.
