    i dont know about pineapple...is it considered citrus but ds has loved watermelon since the beginning

    great I'll let her have some watermelon!! pineapple is confusing me, I just think it would be awesome in one of those mesh things! Juicy! anyone know if it's citrus?

    i always thought it was citrus too, but just did a web search and although it is not, it says it is very acidic so it may irritate babies tummy. at least that is what i found online.

    Pineapple is not a commonly allergenic food, is not known to contain measurable amounts of goitrogens, oxalates, or purines, and is also not included in the Environmental Working Group's 2006 report "Shopper's Guide to Pesticides in Produce" as one of the 12 foods most frequently containing pesticide residues. In fact, pineapple is often used as a fruit in allergy avoidance diets partly for these reasons, and for its bromelain (digestive enzyme) component.

    I would hold off on pineapple until the year point. It is a very acidic fruit. That can result in very painful diaper rashes.
