Question Infected mucus gland in eye

My Dr.'s gave me drops for my little guy (6 mos. on the 12th) and they tell me it can be very serious if not treated right (he may need iv antibiotics)...sigh. Is it OK to squirt a little breastmilk in there? Will it help?

    Just wondering anecdotally. ;0)

hi! i used a few drops of breastmilk in ds's eye when he was a few weeks old to help clear up a minor infection, so i don't think that it could hurt.
