    Default Help! is this normal?

My son is almost three weeks old. He took to BFing almost immediately, and still latches really well. He's on a pretty good shcedule already, feeding every three hours during the late morning/afternoon and every two in the evening. However, there are times durung the midday where he will nurse well for about ten minutes and then keep detaching and relatching...getting upset until he falls asleep. Is this normal? Is there something wrong?

It sounds like he might just be falling asleep and "falls off" for lack of better words then wakes to say "hey what happened?" LO's can nurse until they get what they need...then switch to a much lighter sucking as more of a "comfort nurse" much like a pacifier or thumb.

    Sounds normal to me
