Default Reason 5,324 to extend BF

Yesterday ds (24 mos) fell in the driveway giving himself quite the roadrash on the right side of his face from forehead to chin. He was screaming, and bleeding in a few places. His only consolation was to nurse. His little eyes looking up at me for reassurance, he calmed down. I can't imagine anything else quieting him the way nursing did. A few weeks ago he closed his little pinky in a door. The same thing...right to the breast, and he calmed down. BTW, he has a t-shirt that says "I do all my own stunts"!
It just confirms all I knew to be true about extended BF'ing.

This was so nice to read, the comfort that BF can provide...just thought I'd add that I have used a little mama medicine (EBM) on small cuts (DS and mine) and it has worked great. Looks like you have a little daredevil on your hands

Yes, we've already had our first trip to the ER. About a month ago, he dislocated a ligament in his elbow. Again, it's the bf'ing that kept him calm.
