Default Won't Eat After Throwing Up

We tried some broccoli (baby-led) with LO and she gagged and threw up. This isn't the first time that she has gagged with new textures but it is the first time that she has thrown up. Now she will hardly eat at all. She will barely even eat the stuff that she normally loves (bits of tortilla). Is this common? Should I worry?

She is 8 1/2 months old. I don't expect her to eat much at her age and I don't normally worry when she doesn't eat. I just don't want her to be traumatized by throwing up!

My daughter did this in the beginning...just don't pressure her, let her keep nursing and she'll go back to trying it again when she's ready.

Sounds like it scared her a bit. I agree with the PP. Back off and try again in a bit.
