    Default when to nurse?

i have been nursing my 11month old ds right before solids during the day and i heard that after 12 months you can start to offer solids first and then nurse. i was just wondering how do you go about this? it seems weird to just start doing this suddenly right after his first birthday. is there any sort of plan?

I don't think you *have* to all of the sudden switch over at 12 months. I would just take it slowly, maybe offer solids before BM at one meal or snack to start with. There's no big rush.
