When using my PIS Advanced tonight, the suction was very low. I could get a letdown, but once it switched over, the suction was too low to efficiently pump milk. I checked the manual and checked/tried the things suggested, but nothing seemed to help. I took everything apart and washed it, checked for damage, etc. I removed the diaphram cap and replaced it. I also rinsed my tubes with alcohol, shook them out, hung them to dry and then pumped them to get them more dry. I tried using it about an hour later, and it seemed to work better but lost suction as I pumped. I did end up pumping some milk, but the suction didn't "feel" right.
Unfortunately, Medela's call center is closed until tomorrow morning and I'm not sure what else to try. Any suggestions?
FYI: I just bought the pump new from a pharmacy about a month and a half ago, so I'm doubtful the motor is going.
