Default How do yu store your milk in a deep freezer

Since gma will be watching baby while I go back to work, she has a deep freezer and I want to put my milk in there, as of today my freezer has no more space to hold not even one more bag and I am going to take them to her. Since she uses it for her personal use, does anyone have any suggestion of how I can store my BM in the Lansinoh bags in the deep freezer so they do not get damaged or contanminated, I was considering sectioning them in by week and in a plastic bag and labelling them on the outside with a sharpie. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks ladies.

At the suggestion of a mom, I label each with a date expressed, ounces and label 1-2, 1-2 etc and put 5 in a ziploc. So ziploc is 1 with 5 bags 1-1, 1-2 etc. All ziplocs are in a box in the freezer.

We have a sheet with bag #s date and oz and a column for date used so we have an idea of what's left.

    HTH!

Oh my goodness, I never thought of that, that is so awesome, how many could hold in one zip lock bag?

So just to make sure I got it correctly, I would do say

Jan 10 -12 in one bag
    Jan 13-15 in another

    Is that what you mean?

Should I also include the ounces on the ziploc bags?

I use Lansinoh and I write the date and the ounces on them

I fit about 5 per bag of 3oz.
