    Default questions on bottle feeding

When I give my LO EBM, I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how to give him the bottle properly.

If I stop every one to two ounces to burp him, he loses interest and it's hard to get him to finish the rest of the bottle. I hate to waste breast milk.

If I let him drink almost the entire bottle, he will spit up big time.

What should I do? How do you give your LO the bottle? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
Depending on how old your LO is and how big of an appetite they have, you may want to pick up a set of Medela's "freezer storage set" bottles, which are skinnier and hold less milk. It allows you to use less milk per feeing session. That way, if baby drinks it all and is still hungry, you can just fill it up again. It helps with the issue of baby not finishing a whole bottle.

Here's a product link: (I've seen them at Target and Babies R Us)
