    Default leaking colostrum in pregnancy

Hi--I leaked big time with my first pregnancy, but have not had any leakage this time. Is this normal & *NOT* predictive of how I will produce milk for my little one due in May?

    thanks!

I started leaking in about my 6th month of pregnancy, my doctor told me that it was nothing to worry about. Though after delivery I was able to pump a full syringe of colostrum for my NICU baby (the lactation consultant was shocked). Not sure the two are linked or not though.

Personally I never leaked once during pregnancy and I have a major oversupply! i think every person/pregnancy is different.

Every pregnancy is different- I highly doubt your lack-of-leaking is indicative of what your supply will be like for the LO. I think that is only determined by the nursing after the birth.
