    Question poop problem

My son has not had a bowel movement in a long time.(the last oneI remember was last monday, but I could be wrong) He seems very uncomfortable today. What do I do? How long is too long to go w/o a bm?

Oh, he has also shown signs of teething, can that have anything to do with it?

    Hi there,

I had a similar problem and had posted it in a thread "somewhere". My daughter poops once a week or 8 days. last time she had a stool once a day for two days and now she is "poopless" again. I did take her to the doctor who said everything was fine since her weight gain was good and she was wetting her diapers. She will be 4 months end of the month. She is bf only.

Sometimes exclusively breastfed babies tend to "hold on" to their stool after the early weeks. As long is the stool is not dry, hard, and difficult to pass it is NOT constipation. Here is some more information:
