    Default Crys@breast day, feeds@night(3wks)

Cooper is 3 weeks and feedings during the day are getting worse. He has gone from crying while eqating to pulling off and not wanting to eat at all, but he will have 2 or 3 good feedings during the night. He pulls off the breast as if he is in pain. I have stopped dairy in case that's it but it seems to affect him only after a few swallows, not after the feeding which most websites seems to say is thw way allergies will cause a reaction. Went to an LC who over the phone thought it might be a let-down problem but she checked my latch and said it was fine. Does anyone else have a similar problem?

you realy should get in touch with a lll leader in your area.
its hard to know what is going on with out watching a baby nurse.
hows the baby growing? Is he nursing 8 times or more in a day?
    Having wet and poopy diapars?
    what about spitting up?
    are your nipples sore?
are you worried that the baby isn't getting enough milk?
    are you giving any bottles?

What does latch have to do with letdown.

Does your baby get pacifiers or bottles?

Also, have you contacted your local LLL Leader? She can help!

Things are not better. A good latch lets the baby control the milk better. Cooper is gaining weight so I'm not at a desperate point yet as far as that goes but I can't stand the fact that I can't give my baby a good feeding to make him happy. He pulls off and cries but still wants more so he cries because he's still hungry. This lactation consultant I went to is very good and has been doing this for years and she is stumped!
