    Default Welts & itchy breasts

I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Every once in a while I get some welts on my breasts and they get a little itchy. My nipples are not itchy at all and the itchiness isn't unbearable. The itchiness goes away pretty quickly and the welts go away within a few hours. It has happened maybe 5 times since my lo was born (almost 3 mos). I'm just wondering if anyone else has any insight on this?

All over the world there exists in every society a small group of women who feel themselves strongly attracted to giving care to other women during pregnancy and childbirth. Failure to make use of this group of highly motivated people is regrettable and a sin against the principle of subsidiary. ~ Dr. Kloosterman, Chief of OB/GYN, Univ. of Amsterdam, Holland

I used to get those welts too when I was nursing more. I only got them after my son was born and they are less frequent the less I nurse. I get them occassionally on my stomach too. I have no clue what they are. I wish I could help but at least you know you aren't the only one.

I used to get them with my other los. I always used lansinoh and they usually ended up going away.
