    Default Short Trips

I have a question about taking milk that was refrigerated on a short trip out ... can the milk be re-refrigerated if we didn't need to use it within a few hours? It won't have been warmed up or anything. Or should we always bring ice packs to keep it cool? I wonder because they said freshly expressed milk is good for about 6-8 hours at room temp ...

If you want the refrigerated milk to be able to be re-refrigerated, it might be best to use the cold packs.
