    stage one has just single foods in them..

    The stage 2 foods are the kind that have the noodles and starch in them.

    Stage 2 & 3 still has single foods if you get them that way. I get stage 3 foods and they are just one fruit or one veggie...but they also have mixed foods. I think there is a slight change of texture between stages. Stage 1 is super pureed...stage 3 has a tiny bit more texture to it. I have always bought stage 3 foods just because you get more food for the $$.
