Default has anyone tried frozen baby foods?

Has anyone tried any of the new fresh frozen baby food varieties on the market? They are apparently higher in nutrients and taste better than jarred. My friend recommended HAPPYBABY as a good alternative to my homemade, but I wanted to know if anyone else has tried it or could recommend it. Thanks!

I hadn't even heard about these! Do you know where they're available?

Yes, they are available at the Whole Foods near me (New York) which I found out on their website--www.happybabyfood.com. Looks interesting (and good) to me too, just wondering if anyone else had tried it! I like making homemade, but this looks like it might be a nice alternative. I guess it's worth a try, can't hurt!

We have a different brand around here but the same principle. I find that it tastes more like actual food than the jarred stuff when it comes to offering pre-made meals. And it seems to have less salt (to my taste anyways) than the jarred stuff.

I tried one of these from Whole Foods once. Turns out Connor hates purees, so I still have some in the freezer- but I really liked the idea. I think they're fairly popular here in the bay area, I believe there are some local companies out here. I think its a great alternative to jarred foods. I've never bought or tried any of the jarred, but... I have the frozen sweet potatoes and I thought they were quite good.

Thanks for the responses! I went and tried them as well, and was very pleased. It made me feel a lot better about feeding my 9 mo. old packaged food vs. homemade because it looked just like homemade. I can now say that I recommend them

    Happy New Year!
