    Just to clarify, you are talking about the flanges that go with the pump, right? Not nipple shields, which you put on your breast for baby to nurse from.

    You say you have small breasts, but do you have small nipples/areolas?

    my areolas are huge oddly huge for how small my breasts are...and my nipples are like the size of a pinto bean? and yes the flanges....

    According to the BAB page 641, your nipple should be centered in the nipple tunnel with the flange closely surrounding the nipple but not rubbing against the sides. If the nipple fills the nipple tunnel and becomes uncomfortable you should try a larger size.

    So it sounds like you already did this. Have things been better with the 27cm?

    yes, but i dont know if im just getting a bit more milk cause im pumping all the time or if it was the upsize....
