Unhappy Pregnant and worried about my milk production

I'm due on 12/20/06 and feel no kind of milk in my breasts at all. When I was pregnant with my now 4 year old I was so full at this point that I was already leaking. I had to quit breastfeeding her at 2 months because I quit producing milk. I've heard that you can restart or keep your flow going by taking supplements and teas. My OB said not to begin either until right after I've had him. Has anyone gone through this or have any advice?

I can certainly understand your concern. Congratulations on your upcoming arrival!

If you were able to feed your DC for 2 months with your milk, then that is a good sign! It is rare for a mom to lose her supply without any other circumstances. Did something happen to interrupt your BF relationship with your first DC?

So you know what to expect in the coming weeks.

It is also very helpful to be in touch with a local LLLL. If you have any concerns you can call her directly after the baby is born. Do you have a local group?
