Default Induced lactation for twins, is this possible?

Hello, I am a 47 year old woman and my wife is having twins. I will be the stay at home mom and she doesn't wish to pump or breastfeed. I have never been pregnant and had a hysterectomy a few years ago (still have my ovaries).

Should I even bother trying to induce lactation? Please recommend best course of action. I haven't done anything yet to get started except cut down on caffeine and alcohol. The babies are coming between mid Jan and beginning of Feb.

Hi I just realized I already posted about this! I thought I had but couldn't find it. I got a few replies....not sure how to delete this post. Sorry about that!

Have you seen the documentary that Ricki Lake did called 'Breasmilk'? If I remember correctly, there was a couple featured in one of the sections where the non-childbearing mother also breastfed. I don't remember if there was any discussion about how she prepared for it though, or if she'd ever been pregnant herself. Best of luck!
