Question breastfeeding with teeth just removed

My little daughter is 29 months old. She has problem with her upper(only!) teeth, something wrong with enamel. I noticed it around 6 months ago, I changed her diet according to Cure Tooth Decay book. It seemed helped a bit, at least enamel stopped falling piece by piece. Now the worst part happened, she has gumboil with pus on her upper 2 front teeth. Next week we are going to pediatric dentist.
First I am afraid of the dentist will insist on General Anesthesia...
the second thing I am worried about how my daughter will continue to breastfeed when her teeth just get removed... I guess it would be very painful for her...anybody had experience like that?
    thank you very much!

Oh, poor baby! I'm so sorry you guys are going through this.

I don't have any personal experience, but I'll see if I can find any older threads from moms who have had similar experiences.

I hope everything goes okay. Good luck!
