Thread: New job/jet lag problems

    Default New job/jet lag problems

Just moved overseas to start a new job, and having been having problems with low supply. Just tried to pump at my usual time, and got less than one ounce! I've never had any problems pumping (if anything had some oversupply issues), but am starting work tomorrow. Baby is 9 months old and has never had formula. Any tips to restart the milk factory? Time difference is 6 hours, and we're on day 3 in the new place.

Hi there, What do you usually pump? Are you pumping when separated by baby or adding an additional pump? The most effective way I know to amp up production is to simply nurse more. Hopefully you are able to pump frequently at work?
