Thread: Doubts whether milk is consumable

Default Doubts whether milk is consumable

After I pumped, I refrigerated the milk for an hour, I had to put it at room temperature for 4 hours, about 23°C. Then I froze it. I got that milk on Friday and I want to give it to my baby on Monday . Is it consumable yet? I have understood that lasts six hours . Thank you!

It's very likely it's fine! If you're worried, when you defrost it give it a smell. If it doesn't smell like anything then it didn't spoil. You can even taste test it. If it doesn't taste bad then you're good to go. Sorry this answer is a day late! Hopefully it went well.

Thank you very much! It did actually. I waited until today because I needed to be sure about that milk.
