    Question milk producing foods

My mother and mother-in-law insist that I have a bowl of oatmeal every morning. They believe it will help me produce milk. Is that true? If so, are there any other foods that will help me produce milk. My supply is doing ok. I just want to ensure that I will be able to produce milk for my dd until she is at least one year old. I still have 9 more months to go.

Hi! Whenever I had oatmeal I did notice that I pumped a little more. Most of the time it would only be an extra ounce or two, occasionally more.

I guess my mom and mother-in-law were right. Thanks for your help ladies. The article from Kelly Mom was perfect. I'll start eating oatmeal tomorrow morning and see how it works out.
